Wetland Wonders

Ponds provide essential habitats for many of our beloved NH wildlife species and a variety of interesting plants. They are a nursery for amphibians and insects, a refuge for thirsty mammals, and a place for us to engage with our natural world.

Join us in this interactive, family-friendly program led by Kelly Dwyer of Nature Education Opportunities, we will:

• Set up aquatic investigation stations and closely examine the insects and other creatures living in the aquatic habitats.

• Search the pond’s edge for animal tracks and amphibian life.

• Observe the water’s surface and skies above for dragonflies and birds.

• Learn about ponds, habitats and things that affect them.

Please wear clothing and shoes and that can get wet!
